Travel tips
When to go: The best time to visit Sicily is in spring or autumn, when temperatures are mild and crowds of tourists are fewer. However, keep in mind that from June to September the sea is wonderfully warm and available for swimming.
How to get around: I do not suggest the train because for internal connections they are not at all efficient. Interregional buses are better (AST and SAIS offer more extensive connections), but the car is the most convenient means of transport for exploring Sicily.
What to bring: Don’t forget to bring a swimming costume, sun cream, a hat and comfortable shoes for excursions.
Where to stay: Sicily offers a wide range of accommodation, from luxury hotels to bed and breakfasts, from tourist villages to campsites.
Enjoy your trip to Sicily!
